The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) will organize the Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela from 22nd February to 24th February, 2025, at the institute’s New Delhi campus. This year’s theme is ‘Unnat Krishi- Viksit Bharat.’ Over 1 lakh farmers, entrepreneurs, state government officials, students, and other stakeholders from across the nation attend this fair annually.

Applications for participation in stalls are being invited by IARI, keeping in mind live crop demonstrations, protected cultivation of vegetables and flowers, vertical farming, soil and water analysis, and more. Interested individuals can download the proforma for stall booking from the official website and get in touch with the allotted officials for booking and allotment.
In acknowledgement of innovative advances in agriculture, IARI each year awards around 25-30 top-notch farmers the “IARI Innovative Farmer” and “IARI Fellow Farmer” awards at the fair. Application for these awards, which were closed on 25 January, involved submissions that had to be supported by an eligible recommending authority, including ICAR institute directors, vice-chancellors or extension directors of state agricultural universities, or directors of state departments of agriculture.
The Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela provides an important forum for the various stakeholders in agriculture to share their knowledge, browse through innovations, and deliberate on advancements that work towards the advancement of agriculture in India. Members are invited to actively participate in the event so as to harness the full value of the multifaceted opportunities offered.
